Skip the homes that said no.

A small browser extension for HomeExchange.com: it colour-codes map pins by real availability, remembers which homes already turned you down, and shows every photo instead of the first five.

No servers. Nothing leaves your browser. homeexchange.com only. No other site is touched. Free & open. No account, no sign-up.

Map search

Colour tells you what dates can't.

  • Markers are colour-coded by availability for your selected dates, so you stop clicking pins that won't work.
  • Homes that don't match fade out or disappear entirely — your choice, remembered for next time.
  • Minimum-night requirements show right on the pin, before you open the listing.
  • Marker opacity reflects the host's response rate, so slow responders stand out less.

Requests you've already sent

Stop re-asking the homes that already said no.

  • Most requests die quietly — the host sends a one-click refusal, or it expires unanswered after four days. HomeExchange files both under "Currently under discussion" and leaves them there.
  • Every conversation is read once and labelled for what it actually is: declined, awaiting a reply, or genuinely live.
  • That verdict then follows the home everywhere — on the map pin, on the search result card, and on the listing itself — so a dead lead is obvious before you open it again.
  • Incoming requests are marked separately, and never counted as a home you asked about.

Listing pages

Every photo, not just the first five.

  • An extra row appears right under the default photo grid, showing every photo homeexchange.com already has for that home.
  • "View all photos" opens a redesigned lightbox with hover-to-navigate thumbnails and clearer arrow controls.
  • Hover over a result's thumbnail on the search page to scrub through its photos without opening the listing at all.
